Max was born and raised in Yorkshire before going up to Oxford University to read English Language and Literature. He was sponsored through university by Arthur Andersen and upon graduation he joined their London Audit & Business Advisory Division, specialising in auditing advertising and service sector clients.

After Andersen’s he joined a niche recruitment consultancy where he met Paul Jarrett and together they founded Renaix in 1997.

Max has a developed an extensive network of contacts within the ‘Big 4’ public practice firms throughout Europe. By utilising this network he is able to engineer innovative recruitment solutions for his clients in internal audit, financial line management, treasury and business strategy. He has handled assignments across a wide variety of industries but has a concentration on FMCG, manufacturing and financial services.

He supports Leeds United and plays the guitar, badly.
