On behalf of our client, a leading European multinational group, we are looking for a Business Analyst to join their team in Luxembourg. The main purpose or the role is supporting the execution of the Finance Operations strategic objectives of automation and collaboration.
Business Analyst Job Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support to Investment Accounting, Technical Accounting, and Expense Management teams with their use of Yardi and Tableau
- Gather data from the systems and compile into useable reports for the finance team
- Control aspects of operational finance activities (opening/closing periods, user onboarding) and control some master data in the ERP (accounting rules, account trees, and attributes)
- Develop business processes to ensure data quality in collaboration with finance users and management
- Work with IT teams to build efficient processes so that only clean data is loaded
- Build new reports in self-service environments using Tableau and Excel
- Test new application features and involve other business users in testing
- Develop a strong understanding of operational activity and actively identifying and working with the Business Support Manager to automate processes to be more analytical while processing higher volumes.
Profile:
- Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Finance, IT, social sciences
- +3 years of work experience in a relevant field (finance, IT, management consulting, project management, etc.)
- Strong critical thinking skills, tech-savviness, and data crunching abilities
- Real estate experience is a plus
- Yardi or Tableau experience is mandatory
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English language
- Excellent MS Office skills
