Our Client is a global leader in the manufacturing business. We are currently seeking a Global Credit Manager (Director level) to be based in The Netherlands, directly reporting to the Head of Treasury.
Global Credit Manager Job Responsibilities:
- Delivers technical/ special expertise and case by case solutions
- Cooperates efficiently and ensures efficient information flow between the different internal stakeholders
- Contributes to the successful collaboration in the fields of Finance, Treasury and Credit management with specialist knowledge
- Documents the company’s wide policies and standards
- Monitors and improves functional expert processes
- Provides advice, direction, and oversight of credit management activities for the Group company and its subsidiary entities
- Maintains and updates the global and regional credit policies
- Makes recommendations on financing solutions that minimizes the cost of credit and maximizes cash collection, all of which should positively impact cash flow and working capital
- Attends and supports credit committee meetings with Business Partners ensuring that credit limits are set appropriately and that credit risks are being managed
- Act as the global point of contact for escalation of issues in the case that credit and receivable management activities cannot be executed accurately or within set time limits
- Supports and provides advice regarding the resolution of bad debt write-offs and provision
- Prevents escalation towards the credit insurance company, all the while ensuring credit limits and insurance are up to date according to the information given to the company by the credit insurer in close cooperation with Head Insurance

- Strong skills in relevant IT systems (MS Office, SAP)
- Cooperation and team-working mindset
- Good leadership skills
- Degree in Economics, Business, Accounting or equivalent
- 5-12 years of experience within Finance in an international environment, with at least 4 years within Credit Management
- Preferably some experience in Treasury
- A current resident of The Netherlands (taxpayer)
- EU work permit (no sponsorship associated with this role)
