Our client, a worldwide leading manufacturing company, is looking for a Plant Finance Director to be based in Germany (Hesse State), reporting to the VP of Finance (Regional) and managing a sizable team.
Plant Finance Director Job Responsibilities:
- Act as the Financial Partner of the Plant Director and a key member of the management team in aspects that impact on the performance of the plant
- Provide the Plant Director and the Management team with financial information as well as transparent analysis of risks and opportunities in accordance with Group policies
- Coordinate all financial aspects of the plant – actuals, forecasts and budget, in close collaboration with different stakeholders
- Approve the financial commitments and risks taken by the plant in accordance with the DoA and annual financial KPIs
- Establish a close relationship with the region to ensure the complete alignment of the plant’s strategy with the Group’s objectives
- Ensure that adequate internal controls are put in place and maintained
- Propose an appropriate set of KPIs and processes to help the management team monitor activity, promote action plans across the plant to improve profitability and achieve annual financial goals
- Advising management on investment proposals and potential acquisition
- Interface with regional controller, country FD from operations side to report and cascade information
- Manage the plant controlling team
- Support the VP Finance in required analyses
Profile:
- Degree/Master’s in Finance or similar
- +10 years of relevant finance experience (Plant Controller, ideally)
- Strong knowledge of SAP
- Proven managerial experience
- Fluent written and spoken German and English
