Our client, a Commercial Real Estate firm is looking for a Portfolio Management Analyst to join their Amsterdam-based team responsible for portfolio analysis and driving performance through the robust analysis of key metrics.
What you’ll do:
- Prepare portfolio analysis on asset, regional, and country performance to present to internal and external stakeholders including senior leadership team, investors, lenders, asset managers and the board
- Prepare detailed presentations and reporting schedules to analyse key portfolio trends (rents, occupancy, ERVs, WALB)
- Perform in-depth analysis on key business value drivers (leasing, Capex, NOI, etc.) and prepare high-quality reporting on past, current, and projected performance
- Prepare ad hoc analysis and recurring reports to respond to investor and senior leadership team requests, to provide insight to drive strategic initiatives, portfolio performance, and asset level details
- Lead strategic initiatives to deliver organizational change, optimizing systems and business processes
- Lead significant ad-hoc analysis on all areas of the business to deliver actionable insight
- Drive the annual budgeting process and analyse results, executing on implementation of budget roll out
- Forecast portfolio performance against budgets on company KPIs
- Understand the systems used to manage and track the portfolio performance (Yardi, Tableau, Excel, etc.)
What you’ll bring:
- Several years’ experience in a relevant area, ideally in portfolio management, asset management, consulting, or advisory services, preferably with a focus on real estate
- A strong academic background
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Commercial mindset and great communication skills.
- Outstanding command of English. Additional language skills are a plus
