We are seeking a Senior Internal Auditor for an e-commerce company located in Palma de Mallorca. Reporting directly to the Internal Audit Director, the Senior Internal Auditor will play a vital role in assessing and enhancing risk management and internal controls procedures.
Senior Internal Auditor Job Responsibilities:
- Implement the annual audit plan by scheduling, coordinating, and conducting operational, compliance, IT, and financial audits.
- Perform evaluations of finance, business process, IT, or compliance to assess the design and operational efficacy of internal controls.
- Identify key risks and controls and test them accordingly.
- Prepare reports based upon audit results.
- Communicate the audit findings to the management board.
- Monitor the prompt execution of agreed-upon actions.
Profile:
- University degree in Finance or Business Administration
- Experience within a Big 4 or a large multinational (+4 years)
- Ideally a financial certification (CPA, ACCA, etc.)
- Good knowledge of risk/internal controls
- Great communications skills
- Excellent level of English, written and spoken
- Native Spanish language would be a plus
