Reporting directly to the Statutory Finance Manager you will be responsible for STAT accounting records as well as taxation and reconciliations.
Key Senior Statutory Accountant Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for STAT bookkeeping and reconciliations
- Reconcile ICO, AR and AP transactions and validate supporting documents
- Billing to ICO for cost liquidations
- Prepare GAAP to STAT reconciliation
- Support periodic audits
- Support preparation of STAT to TAX reconciliation
- Maintains professional relations with local authorities, support for periodic audits from tax authorities
- Provide information on TP files preparation
- Prepare various statistical reports
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional statutory accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
- Fluent in Romanian and English
- Membership or student with relevant professional bodies CEECAR, CAFR, Fiscal Consultant, ACCA is a plus
