On behalf of our client, a Fortune 500 Multinational Company, we are actively recruiting for an Accountant (Statutory Reporting) / Finance Specialist for their office in Warsaw.
Accountant (Statutory)/Finance Specialist Job Responsibilities:
- Review of US GAAP accounting records, journal entries, source documents and account reconciliations
- Preparing and posting adjustments to US GAAP to ensure alignment with local accounting and tax requirements
- Reconciling differences between Statutory and US GAAP books
- Performing year-end statutory closing activities
- Calculating current and deferred income tax in cooperation with tax advisors
- Preparing financial statements and back-ups for recorded balances
- Supporting financial statement approval and filing
- Preparing statistical, NBP, Intrastat and other reporting
- Supporting internal and external audits and tax inspections
- Preparation of basic financial data for Transfer Pricing documentation
Experience:
- Ideally you will be degree qualified in Accounting or Finance
- + 5 years of experience within Finance or Accounting roles
- Fluent in English language
- Valid work permit
- Good skills in terms of problem solving
- Team player and proactive
