On behalf our client, a Fortune 500 Services Multinational, we are looking for a Director of Consulting Services for the UK. With report to the CEO, you will be responsible for a large team (+100 people).

Director of Consulting Services Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for the management of two Business Units with revenues of +£20M, with strong growth expectations in the next few years. Lead the commercial development among two different Consultancy Groups and ensure the visibility of a growing sales pipeline with effective key client delivery, towards excellency. To identify and implement improvements in operating efficiency, people capability and customer focus.

• Manage a P&L of +£20M with many Consultants and different Consultancy Groups
• Lead the Consultancy Services through setting, engaging, and delivering KPIs that drive performance and growth
• Create a single team culture within Consultancy Services
• Work as part of the management team to drive improvements in efficiency and forward capacity planning to match growth
• Deliver defined divisional KPIs on revenue, cost, profit, productivity, efficiency and safety
• Understand the market context and drivers which the clients operate so that the organisation can leverage further business in the sector through better engagement with clients
• Take all opportunities to maximise all sales potential across their full range of services to grow the revenue generating opportunities for each client and work closely with the sales team
• Manage people performance effectively within Consultancy Services and ensure effective PMPs are done twice per annum
• Take a proactive approach to recruitment reorganising the number of vacancies and ensuring the right people are in place at the right time to the right level of capabilities
• Develop strategic relationships internally and externally and drive improvements in customer service
• Drive the business strategically in line with the latest company growth strategy
• Focus on culture change in the division focused on employee engagement measures, development, and diversity

Profile:

• Relevant experience in Consultancy or Advisory, ideally in a Big 4, in the UK market
• Experience managing transformational projects in large multinational clients, ideally in the space of environmental services
• Experience managing very large P&Ls and ensuring the delivery of an excellency service
• Strong leadership skills are critical and the ability to engage with different expert stakeholders, internally and externally
• Ability to drive large teams of Consultants with different expertise towards a common goal, bringing on board delivery excellency
• Holding a work permit for the UK or UK citizenship
