Our client is a major public accounting business, they are looking to expand their Digital Audit teams based in Birmingham and the South-East, with an addition to support their growing audit workload. Focussing on IT systems and controls you will be responsible for providing advice and guidance to a variety of clients, industries and technologies, as well as stakeholders across the business.

As a Manager in the Digital Audit hub, you’ll work as part of a team of Digital Audit and Technology specialists in support of operational and financial audit reviews. Working with senior external stakeholders to understand and investigate digital control landscapes and test systems, leading IT and Data solutions on complex business issues from strategy to execution.

IT Audit Manager Job Requirements:

  • Supervisory experience of audit and technology teams and demonstrable experience driving strong it risk and control environments
  • Ability to manage multiple external client relationships and engagements, whilst also leading, developing, mentoring teams within the digital audit and technology landscapes
  • Reporting directly to the Senior Manager/Directors you will be responsible for providing robust IT risk and control environment knowledge
  • Responsible for checking IT systems to ensure they are appropriately controlled by client management and to check data integrity, investigating and assessing any discrepancies
  • Ability to review and develop real insight into a client’s markets, technology, people and management, as well as its finances and business processes

Profile:

  • 5+ years’ involvement in Finance Technology, IT Audit or Digital Analytics type landscapes
  • Professional qualifications such as CISA/CIA/ACCA or equivalent is preferred
  • Service-situated outlook; strong sense of duty regarding quality and continuous improvement – “can do” disposition
  • Strong investigative, critical thinking and leadership abilities
  • Good business knowledge and working experience in the territory of IT process improvements
  • Strong technology systems experience such as SAP, SQL, GRC, Python, ITIL
