On behalf of our client, a leading financial services group (real estate), we are looking for a SPA Analyst to join their dynamic and young team in the UK or Netherlands.

SPA Analyst Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of SPA on key business priorities, including portfolio growth and increasing NOI and occupancy
  • Perform in-depth asset-and portfolio-level analysis (leasing, Capex, NOI, etc.) and prepare high-quality reporting on past, current and projected performance
  • Assist with the annual budgeting process and analyse results
  • Collaborate with the Financial Planning & Analysis team to compile the quarterly board book
  • Demonstrate strong commercial asset and market knowledge. You will be able to articulate market trends which form a key component of the quarterly board book, help formulate strategy and explain the portfolio’s performance
  • Discuss, challenge, and optimise commercial deals presented by local teams to support analysis and presentation of proposals to the Investment Committee
  • Work with the Asset Management team to identify specific asset and portfolio risks and opportunities, and based on your findings, advise on asset business plans
  • Build relationships across departments to make sure key business metrics and processes are appropriately managed such as arrears, dividend payments, legal matters, system issues, liquidity forecasts, governance and sustainability

Main Requisites:

  • Ideally you should have 4/6 years of experience in a relevant area such as private equity or asset management, and preferably with a focus on real estate
  • Bachelor’s Degree in significant area such as finance or real estate studies
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills and ability to work with complex and big data sets (Excel)
  • Commercial mindset and great communication skills
  • Superb interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills. You will know how to solve problems and have the tenacity to “get things done”.
  • Fluent English language skills. Additional language skills a plus
  • Work permit essential for the UK or Netherlands (no Visa available for this role)
