Our client, a highly successful global Commercial Real Estate firm, is looking for a Valuation Analyst to join their finance team based in Amsterdam.
You will be part of the core team, coordinating with senior stakeholders, preparing commercial analysis, analysing marketing trends and managing external valuation processes.
Valuation Analyst Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare commercial analysis and high-quality outputs for senior internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrating vital commercial asset and market knowledge, you will be able to identify market trends, which form a crucial driver of valuations and asset management initiatives.
- Support and coordinate external valuation processes to deliver strategic priorities
- Analyse and discuss valuation outcomes and give directions to valuers supported by market evidence, where needed.
- Build relationships across departments and work with asset management teams to identify specific asset and portfolio-level risks and opportunities,
- Gain in-depth knowledge of the systems used to manage and track our portfolio performance (Yardi, Excel, Tableau, etc.) to support the optimisation of systems and processes.
Your Profile:
- Minimum three years experience in a relevant area, ideally in asset management, property advisory, or financial services, with a strong commercial mindset and expertise with valuations.
- A solid academic background (Bachelor’s degree) in a relevant area, for example, in Real Estate studies or Finance
- Strong attention to detail to handle.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate and drive processes between internal teams, stakeholders and external parties.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills and ability to work with complex and extensive data sets (Excel). Your head for data means you can digitise and track new information and take it all in stride.
- Outstanding command of English. Additional language skills are a plus.
