Role Overview: Assistant Tax Manager, Corporate Tax Hub
As a vital member of their Corporate Tax Hub, you will spearhead efforts within a collaborative team of tax, finance, and technology experts. Your focus will be on supporting IFRS and US GAAP compliance, operational tasks, and influencing the financial strategy of the business.
Assistant Tax Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the tax lifecycle across EMEA regions, adhering to various standards, including IFRS, US GAAP, local GAAP, and HGB.
- Coordinate the preparation and management of technical data for tax audits, disputes, and litigation, serving as the primary liaison for consultants and regulatory bodies.
- Assist in managing transfer pricing documentation and strategies in collaboration with the Transfer Pricing Team to enhance global processes.
- Contribute to regional tax planning and special projects, including mergers and acquisitions, transfer pricing, and legal compliance.
Candidate Profile:
- Certified German tax advisor/Steuerberater (Stb) with a solid background in German corporate tax, tax compliance, and project management.
- A degree in finance, tax, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with cross-border taxation and familiarity with tax accounting principles under US-GAAP and/or IFRS will be highly regarded.
- Exceptional analytical and numerical skills, with proven experience in process management.
