Bookkeeper Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, invoice processing, and bank reconciliations
  • Support senior staff in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software
  • Prepare basic financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including vendor payments and customer invoicing.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the timely and accurate completion of client deliverables.
  • Learn and adhere to relevant regulations and standards, including tax laws and GAAP principles.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to expand your knowledge and skills in accounting and finance.
  • Support ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed to assist the finance team and contribute to departmental goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
  • Understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of finance (training available)
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
  • Commitment to integrity, confidentiality, and ethical behaviour in all aspects of work
  • Good level of English
