Our esteemed client, a leading multinational company headquartered in Berlin, is actively seeking a finance business partner to oversee operations in the CEE region, covering Poland, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia.

CEE Regional Finance Business Partner Job Responsibilities:

As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business operations and financial expertise, collaborating with various functions such as accounting, treasury, taxes, and audit. Your primary focus will be delivering knowledge-based and insightful services, providing valuable consultation, and contributing to strategic decision-making.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between functions and business for knowledge-based activities.
  • Proactively consult and collaborate with the business to address complex issues and develop suitable solutions.
  • Act as a translator, change manager, risk agent, and cash manager, assessing risks, managing change, and focusing on liquidity planning.
  • Support the business’s decision-making processes with critical information, reports, and analytics.
  • Manage and support improvement projects across functions.
  • Ensure the functional company-wide strategy and regional and global strategic priorities are defined and implemented.
  • Meet local and legal deadlines promptly.
  • Ensure effective cash-flow planning management, hedging, financial engineering, and dividend payments.

Profile:

  • An academic degree in business, economics, or finance is preferred.
  • Over seven years of experience in finance, control, and business partnerships within a global business environment.
  • Proficiency in Ukrainian, Polish, and English (written and spoken).
  • Familiarity with IFRS.
  • High mobility and flexibility, with a willingness to travel 60% or more.
  • Project management experience (PMP preferred).
  • Experience with SAP, MSO, and other ERP systems is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, customer orientation, and problem-solving mentality.
  • Superior relationship-building and influencing skills.
