Our client, a leading multinational, is looking for a Finance Director directly reporting to the Managing Director and based in North Rhine-Westphalia.
Director of Finance Job Responsibilities:
- Management of financial, accounting and reporting practices to ensure compliance with international, legal and consolidated accounting standards
- Financial management in the implementation of business transactions and coordination with the financial strategy
- Head of an international financial and controlling team
- Controlling financial and accounting functions in accordance with the company’s policies, procedures and regulations
- Implementation of new controlling systems ensuring that controlling is carried out in accordance with the financial strategy
- Monitor the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts and performance review compared to budget
- Development and maintenance of financial systems and processes to support business objectives
- Advising management on investment proposals and potential acquisition
Profile:
- Degree in finance or similar
- Previous audit experience in the Big 4 or other renowned public accounting firm (ideally at a Manager grade)
- Strong technical knowledge in IFRS
- Proven controllership experience, more than 5 years at managerial level within a Finance function
- Fluent written and spoken German and English
