On behalf of our client, a leading multinational production company at the forefront of innovation and excellence, we seek a financial controller to join one of his teams in Lille. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their skills and gain valuable experience in financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Financial Controller Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements following company policies and accounting standards
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process by gathering data, analysing trends, and preparing reports to assist management in decision-making.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify critical drivers of financial performance and provide insights into areas for improvement.
  • Assist in conducting financial analysis on various business initiatives, including pricing strategies, cost optimisation, and investment opportunities.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining internal controls to ensure company policies and procedures compliance.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and assistance as required.
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects and initiatives as management assigns, providing financial expertise and support where necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Few years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in a corporate environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and trends
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic environment
