You will provide leadership in all aspects of finance, supporting the Divisional Secretary-General to ensure the business meets reporting requirements, maintaining robust internal controls, and managing the closing and reporting processes.

Financial Controller Responsibilities:

  • Ensure efficient and effective delivery of the monthly accounts, cash control, and costing systems to support reporting requirements to the division and group.
  • Support managing processes, including creating and reviewing forecasts, budgets, plans, and cost assessments.
  • Maintenance of financial records and systems in accordance with IFRS, ensuring financial processes, systems, and controls are operating effectively
  • Maintain accurate forecasts, cash flow analysis, and working capital management.
  • Evaluating business data and creating business reviews
  • Evaluate the profitability and performance of products, projects, and KPIs.
  • Act as the guardian of internal control, tax compliance, and customs regulations.
  • Participate in projects and undertake ad hoc financial assignments.
  • Collaborate with group functions including consolidation, treasury, tax, and legal and statutory auditors.

Profile:

  • 6 to 8 years experience in finance with proven experience in a finance controllership role
  • Good knowledge of financial control, accounting, finance, customs regulations, and treasury
  • University degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of IFRS standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Initiative-taker, autonomous, persistent, and results-oriented.
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills, ideally exposure to consolidation software.
  • Businesses fluent in French and English must be eligible to work in the EU.
  • The role will ordinarily require four days on-site per week.
