We’re looking for a marketing manager for our client, a premium brand fashion company based in London.  Your existing team comprises two enthusiastic marketing executives, a dynamic graphic designer, an advertising and PR agency, and freelance photographers. The critical areas of emphasis will encompass social media, digital advertising, data analytics, content management, PR, and corporate communications.

Marketing Manager Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all critical, creative aspects of the business and oversee the production pipeline, including shoots, pre-and post-production, and coordination with the content and agency teams.
  • Formulate and execute a marketing and content strategy aimed at enhancing brand awareness.
  • Handle incoming briefs, workflow, and the sign-off process in collaboration with the senior management team.
  • Develop and implement a compelling marketing calendar aligned with business objectives.
  • Cultivate strategic relationships with media partners to amplify positive outcomes from company-group activities.
  • Craft and execute comprehensive marketing strategies targeting brand awareness, customer retention, and acquisition.
  • Generate briefs for short articles and press releases highlighting various milestones and achievements within the group.
  • Cultivate strong cross-functional relationships to facilitate the creation and implementation of effective marketing campaigns across diverse channels.
  • Develop brand messaging and marketing materials as needed across all platforms, including retail stores.
  • Execute internal and external newsletters.
  • Participate in and support local community events and initiatives, aligning with companies’ operations and aspirations.
  • Foster connections with partner organisations, promoting collaborative messaging around community and social impact.
  • Provide support to agencies with PR communications.
  • Plan and deliver research reports.
  • Ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery of marketing outputs, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
  • Monitor ongoing campaign expenditures against the budget.
  • Supervise both the external PR agency and the internal team.
  • Oversee press releases as required.

Relevant skills and experience:

  • A strong marketing background with comprehensive knowledge of all pertinent marketing facets for a growing business, preferably in the fashion sector.
  • A genuine marketer is proficient in the entire spectrum of the marketing mix.
  • Demonstrated experience in team management, possessing leadership and communication skills to motivate, ensure efficiency, and foster the development of each team member.
  • Proficiency in managing marketing budgets.
  • Possesses an analytical mindset, displaying meticulous attention to detail and critical thinking abilities.
  • Adaptable to changing priorities with a positive response.
  • Embraces a growth mindset, combining commercial acumen with a creative approach to identify opportunities.
  • Values working in a small, collaborative, and hands-on team environment.
