We are currently seeking a Compensation & Benefits Expert to join our Client, a leading international group with corporate functions headquartered in Berlin, Germany.

Reporting to the team Lead of C&B and the Group HRD, you will be responsible for leading and delivering the application of C&B methodology and job grading frameworks across the business units. As well as the execution of complex Reward, LTI, D&O and employee stock programs.

Compensation & Benefits Expert Job Responsibilities:

  • The role of the Compensation & Benefits Expert is to help provide state-of-the-art remuneration models for total compensation and rewards to the workforce
  • You will support the Group Global HR functions in the implementation, maintenance and execution of operational compensation and benefits activities
  • Working with stakeholders you will be responsible for providing support for benchmarking the global job grading frameworks; as well as working with Group Leadership on the calculation of Exec Management remuneration frameworks
  • Working with both internal and external teams during C&B engagements and the summary preparation of reports, findings, risks and recommendations on for the business
  • Gather and review background information on the business and competitors and identify key risks and challenges in the C&B landscape


  • Ideally, you will have a Bachelor’s degree and professional certifications such as CIPD, SHRM or equivalent
  • Ideally you will have several years of experience in the field of C&B/Rewards/HR in a multinational landscape
  • The candidate should have a genuine interest in the application of C&B/Rewards methodology to improve business performance and employee engagement
  • Strong knowledge of C&B, Rewards, HR global frameworks is essential. Exposure to tools like Hay methodology, HRS, SAP, People Analytics would be very useful
  • Business English is essential. Other global languages are a plus
